Verano, fiesta

As the night comes in, I watch the buildings out the window start to fade.
There's people down by the street
that knew this neighborhood before the bricks were laid.
If they couldn't get away in a car,
I guess they walked to the bar,
and ordered up a rum and lemonade.
It gets me thinking about just passing time and trying to get by,
leaning out the window just to listen to the sirens go by.
You don't belong to this world
so many people are coming on strong

Some kid is playing guitar down by the subway while i'm waiting for your train
he cocks his eyes round about and rolls a toothpick in his mouth
and sings out "you don't have to stand in the rain,"
then a noise from down the tracks turns my distractions to verbs
and as the cars come to a stop i watch you step to the curb.

Esta es otra de mis candidatas a cancion del verano. Este grupo fue descubrimiento de un amigo, llegó a mi a través de el, y, como siempre me ocurre en estos casos, este grupo ya para siempre me recordará a el. Y eso es lo bueno de la musica. Pues eso, una canción fresca para este verano, que te invita a salir por ahi, y pasar buenos momentos...

Y buenos momentos son los que han abundado en este fin de semana, desde luego... de ahi que no puediera actualizar demasiado... Salir el viernes, salir el sabado en Pontevedra, cambiar de lugares, y, eso si, siempre rodeado de los amigos... Auqnue falte alguno que otro... Eso siempre asegura grandes noches... y grandes viajes, aunque sean de media hora... Es lo que tiene viajar en un monovolumen de esos, siete personas... Y mañana Vilagarcia.... el caso es buscar destino para salir hoy...
